BE A BLESSING
Using The Father’s Blessing Prayer Card, and a baby doll, explain to the children that our God is a God of Blessing! He Loves to bless what He has made, and we as His children get to do the same! You can even explain to children that words of blessing have the power to heal and protect! Then explain to the children that the baby (doll) needs love and blessing. Have them take turns coming up to the baby and encourage them to love and bless the baby. You can give each child a sentence to repeat from The Father’s Blessing, so that each child gets to bless and love the baby. Give them the opportunity to demonstrate loving the baby while they repeat the blessing.
Through this exercise the children will learn that caring for and loving others includes blessing others, and they will relate to the baby who is being cared for through blessing and nurturing. As they share their love and blessing truth with the baby, they will understand that this is how they are loved and blessed through those that take care of them and through their Father God.
The Father’s Blessing is a unique and personal prayer that speaks directly to a child’s identity as words of affirmation, value, purpose, belonging, and destiny are spoken over your little one. With a full color real-life design, this full page prayer is perfect for hanging in a nursery, as a new baby gift, for bedtime reading or anytime reading! Can be viewed on a digital device or printed on plain paper or photo paper. Laminate or frame for extra durability and style.

I had quite the funny experience with my three-year-old yesterday and I thought surely there is a blog for this moment. This morning when I woke up, I asked Holy Spirit what the title of the article should be, and I immediately heard, “what goes in must come out!” I burst into laughter thinking “very funny Jesus,” as the experience that I am about to share with you has to do with potty training. With 18-month-old twins and a baby on the way, I have been quite determined to make sure our oldest, Judah—who just turned 3—is fully potty trained before our little princess gets here. (Because let’s be honest FOUR children in diapers at once is A LOT!!!) Judah has done a great job in his learning process and has really been receptive to the reward system that we have used as a motivator. However, we have been facing the hurdle of getting him to go “big potty” (number two) on the toilet.
Throughout over 30 years of ministering identity and destiny to children, we have put together many prayers, identity statements, and tools to empower and speak truth into precious young lives. Here we have the privilege of being able to offer some of these resources just for YOU to minister life in your very own home.
Through this simple, but powerful lesson plan, teach your children the authority that they have over the enemy and how they have the power to choose what they will allow to affect their heart and soul.
