SUPERHEROES

Using a cape (could also use a small blanket, sweatshirt, or cloth tied around their shoulders or tucked into the back of their shirt collar), a flashlight, and the Kingdom Destiny Flash Cards, give each child the opportunity to be a superhero to help the other children in need. You can provide a scenario for the rescue scene based on a flash card, and with their superhero cape and trusty light in their hand, they can imagine themselves as true superheroes. Once you set the scene for the play time, have the superhero repeat what is on the flash card and then release them to go and be the superhero they were created to be! This valuable play time not only teaches them to imagine themselves as a superhero in the light of Truth, but also helps them to see themselves in the destiny they were designed for!

This set of 10 flash cards speaks directly to a child’s destiny, purpose, and calling. Verbal children can repeat statements aloud while parents and caregivers can minister these truths to younger ones. We can speak Kingdom principles directly into a child’s destiny that are sowing seeds of truth into their very core. Cards can be printed and laminated for hands-on use or viewed on a digital device.

What Goes In Must Come Out

I had quite the funny experience with my three-year-old yesterday and I thought surely there is a blog for this moment. This morning when I woke up, I asked Holy Spirit what the title of the article should be, and I immediately heard, “what goes in must come out!” I burst into laughter thinking “very funny Jesus,” as the experience that I am about to share with you has to do with potty training. With 18-month-old twins and a baby on the way, I have been quite determined to make sure our oldest, Judah—who just turned 3—is fully potty trained before our little princess gets here. (Because let’s be honest FOUR children in diapers at once is A LOT!!!) Judah has done a great job in his learning process and has really been receptive to the reward system that we have used as a motivator. However, we have been facing the hurdle of getting him to go “big potty” (number two) on the toilet.

Identity Statements

Throughout over 30 years of ministering identity and destiny to children, we have put together many prayers, identity statements, and tools to empower and speak truth into precious young lives. Here we have the privilege of being able to offer some of these resources just for YOU to minister life in your very own home.
